Heswall Hall Technical Redevelopment.

Wirral technical production company Stage UK have been chosen for the installation of the Heswall Hall technical redevelopment, helping to meet the trusts new business plan.

Heswall Hall Community Trust (HHCT) is a corner stone for the Wirral West community. They cater for a huge range of groups, societies and events drawing in crowds from across Wirral and beyond. In the years before the pandemic HHCT had begun to develop the hall in to a cultural hub, providing a platform for musicians and artists to perform. “The Big Room” sprung from this, presenting regular quality entertainment through out the year and boasting fantastic sales across the wide range genres. With the lockdown of 2020 HHCT made use of the closure to re-evaluate and develop their services. Stage UK have long served Heswall Hall with hires and engineers for their larger concerts and events, constantly offering help and advice to the voluntary board of trustees. From talks in 2019 about the Hall’s technical facilities, the trust decided to look at overhauling the dated and ageing system as part of their new business plan in the hopes of booking larger acts and shows. The Stage UK team have since designed a state of the art technical system which brings the Hall’s offering of lighting, sound and video in to the modern age. The design adds functionality on every level while not once removing features of the previous systems.

The Heswall Hall Technical Redevelopment covers 4 key areas; Lighting, Sound, Av, and Rigging. For Lighting, the original Strand system will be replaced with a new, totally LED lighting rig all ran from an Avolites Quartz. The fixtures are a mix of Chauvet Professional and Martin, giving excellent value for money.

“The Chauvet Ovation really jumped out to us, the RGBA-Lime LED technology is superb, really bringing the stage in to the 21st century while the Martin Rush Pars offer a great alternative to generic Parcans boasting a fantastic output”.
